What does Otta do?

Otta shows hunting seasons and legal hunting times for your region and lets you keep a private hunting log — hits, misses, and sightings with species, location, and weather recorded automatically.

Which countries are covered?

Otta covers several Nordic and European countries, with season data organized by country and region. Coverage is expanding — email us if your region is missing.

Are the season times official?

Season data is compiled from official sources and updated regularly, but regulations change and local exceptions exist. Always verify against your local authority’s current regulations before hunting — Otta is a reference, not a legal source.

Is my hunting log private?

Yes. Your entries are visible only to you, backed up automatically to your account, and synced across your devices.

What do I get with Otta Pro?

Otta Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks calendar export, custom notification lead times, unlimited saved locations, and the extended widget.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

Settings › Restore Purchases restores Otta Pro on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.

The sunrise/sunset times look wrong

Hunting times are computed from your saved location. Check that the right location is selected in Settings, or add your hunting ground manually.
