Privacy Policy for Vivum

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Vivum is a daily check-in app. To do its job it has to know when you last checked in and who to tell if you stop. This policy explains what we store, why, and what we never do.

Who is responsible

Vivum is developed by Stefan Crafoord-Wiklund, who is the data controller. Contact: vivum@crawik.com.

What we store about you

What we store about your contacts

The name, email address and preferred language you enter for each contact, whether they have confirmed, and delivery records for emails we send them. We email a contact only after they confirm by clicking a link in an invitation. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Why we use it

Only to run the check-in service: to remind you, to warn you before your deadline, and to email your confirmed contacts if you miss it. The legal basis is our agreement with you (the service you asked for) and, for contacts, their consent.

What we never do

Who processes data for us

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account in the app, your check-ins, contacts, settings and device tokens are deleted from our servers. Server backups are kept for up to 14 days and then overwritten.

Your rights

You can see and change your data in the app, and delete it with Delete account. You can also ask us for a copy, a correction or deletion, or object to our use of it, by email. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your data protection authority (in Sweden, IMY).

Not an emergency service

Vivum doesn’t contact emergency services and can’t guarantee when an email or notification arrives. In an emergency, call 112.
